More and Better Jesus Followers in 2023

Despite a challenging economy and political environment, God was mightily at work through your generosity last year. Faith grew through compelling worship gatherings, engaging mentoring, and relational home groups.

Our mission is to make more and better Jesus followers.

Mindy didn’t grow up believing in Jesus. She knew little about church or faith. Engaged to be married, she was scared of having a second failed marriage. She reached out for counseling at Berean and after years of mentoring, surrendered her life to Jesus. 

Mindy and Adam are now happily married and have a new baby. And last year they took the huge step of faith to be publicly baptized. They are plugged into a weekly connect group and it’s the highlight of their week. She is helping to coordinate the group and her husband is helping facilitate the discussions.

Mindy is an example of just one of 54 people baptized at Berean in 2023. Our communities are filled with families who are deepening their relationships because they are growing in their faith.

She is a life changed, thanks to the power of Jesus and the irresistible love of you, his new faith family.

God enabled us to mentor people into their next steps of fatih. We cheered as 22 people graduated 101, 16 people graduated 201, 16 people graduated 301, 6 people graduated 401, and 10 people became new members of Berean.

Connect groups provided a lifeline to hundreds of people in our region during a challenging year of economic uncertainty and social upheaval. Our connect leaders graciously opened their homes and hearts to provide a safe environment for relationship and spiritual growth.

God equipped us with two new pastors, a new steward, and a new pastor intern. We believe that Berean’s future is in good hands.

Campuses

The number of Berean campuses has quadrupled in the past five years! We are blessed to be reaching four communities and a global online community weekly with the Good News of Jesus. With the recent launch of our fifth campus in Hillcrest, we are excited to reach another community and transform more lives through Jesus.

Online Engagement

This many people are following us on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. We are blessed with a 4.8 out of 5 star rating on facebook and 4.9 stars on Google. Our online engagement is strong and growing. In December we reached 79,091 people reached and one of our fall sermon clips about the Bible’s accuracy has been seen over 96,000 times.

When we look around our campuses, we see many stories like Mindy’s story, people Jesus has rescued and redeemed. Thank you for investing your time and treasure into Berean’s mission.
