What is a Connect Group
A Connect Group is a small community of people that come together to share life with each other. A group of people to mature in your faith with, to celebrate successes with and to be there when you need a helping hand. It can be daunting sometimes to find connection when you come to church on a Sunday, it is easy to get lost in the crowd, it is in Connect Groups that you will find that connection and the deeper relationship that will help keep you fed and spiritually growing.Â
How to Join a Group
Connect Groups meet weekly 2-3 Months in a Term, having 5 terms per year. Groups come in many different styles and sizes, some share a meal before hand, some have children and some are for singles. To help find a group that fits best for you, you can navigate to Join A Connect Group, under the Connect Group Option or you also visit the Welcome Center at your location campus.Â
Interest in Leading a Group
Leading a connect group is an amazing opportunity to lead a group of people to a deeper faith and relationship with people. We are here to help you succeed, each leader having a coach to help you with training, encouragement, and prayer. If you would like to start to lead a group reach out to your campus pastor/director and they will be happy to get you connected to a coach.Â
When it comes to relationships, circles are better than rows.
There are things that happen in circles that rows just aren’t made for. Conversations. Eye contact. Encouragement. Support. In a circle, everyone is seen, everyone is connected, and everyone is known. In rows, we’re an audience. In circles, we’re participants.
