More and Better Jesus Followers in 2021
Despite a raging global pandemic and supply chain disruptions, God was mightily at work through your generosity last year. Faith grew through compelling worship gatherings, engaging mentoring, and relational home groups.
And we watched in awe as the generosity of Bereans and the power of our God never missed a beat.
Our mission is to make more and better Jesus followers.
Joel was invited to come to Berean by a friend. He came, and God began changing his heart. Last winter he went public with his new faith by being baptized. His wife Mel saw him changing and became more curious about faith. Last fall she surrendered her life to Jesus. They have gone through our marriage mentoring, growth process mentoring, and now our parent mentoring. They said this: “When we needed God the most, He showed up for us. The people here at Berean are willing to help and really care about you. We couldn’t have done it without you.” Jesus is changing our region, one family at a time!

That’s the amount of money we received the past two years for our Fuel campaign. Our goal of $2.3-2.75 million was exceeded, allowing us to do more projects and pay down more debt than expected. We are blown away by your generosity.

Next Steps
Despite an extended pandemic, people continued to mentor and grow. Last year we cheered as 34 people graduated 101, 16 people graduated 201, 8 people graduated 301, and 10 people graduated 401.

Groups
Connect groups provided a lifeline to hundreds of people in our region during the challenges of this year. Despite high levels of discourgament and isolation, our connect leaders opened their homes and hearts to provide a safe environment for relationship and spiritual growth.

Baptisms
Kristy, Kate, Elijah, Emily, Curtis, Marilaina, Tasha, Samantha, Aubrey, Jeanette, Seth, Louis, Pam, Juanita, Cameron, and Mike. What do they have in common? Like Joel, they went public with their faith in baptism last year.

Trainees
Our elders trained 9 men for leadership in 2021. Our leaders love developing new leaders, and we believe that Berean’s future is in good hands.

Campuses
The number of Berean campuses has quadrupled in the past five years! We are blessed to be reaching three communities and a global online community weekly with the Good News of Jesus. With the coming launch of our fifth campus in North Binghamton, we are excited to reach another community and transform more lives through Jesus.
Quintupled
That’s what happened to our kid’s attendance at our Bainbridge Campus when we opened our new facility last spring. We thank God for the five-fold increase of young people.

That’s how many people we reached at our Christmas Eve gatherings in-person and online. The Gospel was clearly shared and people were drawn to Jesus.

This many people are following us on Facebook, where we are blessed with a 4.8 out of 5 star rating. Our online engagement is strong and growing.
